Barry Dene Hornbeck

Barry Dene Hornbeck, 61, of Anderson, passed away Feb. 20, 2020, at St. Vincent Anderson Hospital.
Barry was born Aug. 18, 1958, in Anderson, to Millard Mel Hornbeck and Wilma Jayne Seal. He was a lifelong Anderson resident and worked as a store Manager for different KMart locations around Anderson.

Barry loved to be outdoors and fishing. He loved to laugh and have fun.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching sports, especially the colts. You could usually find him sitting on the porch drinking a beer. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years Annette Hornbeck; brothers and sisters, Larry (Lynn) Hornbeck, Randy (Kim) Hornbeck, Kathy Buck, Becky (Don) Burk, Rick (Darlene) Hornbeck, and Tony Seal; children Andrew Hornbeck, James Hornbeck, Shelly Schuyler (Brad), and Jerry Anderson Jr.; grandchildren Hayley Cortes (Carlos), Hannah Schuyler, and Trevor Anderson; great-grandchildren Hunter Cortes and Ryder Cortes; sister-in-law, Janet Bevelhimer; special friend Laura Phillips; special dog Sara; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a special uncle and aunt, Jack and Bette Elijah; and twin brother Garry Hornbeck.

Cremation Services were handled through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
