Barry Kent Gasper

Barry Kent Gasper, age 63, of Muncie, passed away unexpectedly on February 4, 2022, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on January 31, 1959, to Richard Gasper and Sandra Gasper.

Barry was a graduate of Wes-Del High School, class of 1977. He owned and operated a trucking business, working as a truck driver since 1997. Barry was an easy-going, simple guy who was easy to please. He loved to spend any time he could with his family fishing, camping, boating, and just being outdoors. He always had the biggest smile when his grandkids were around. Family was everything to Barry. He loved to watch his grandkids growing up, playing sports. He loved having his grandkids mow the yard with him, fish with him, any chance he could. Barry was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Barry is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Kathy Gasper (Pierce); Father Richard Gasper (Von); children Hollie Amos (Jeremy), Brandon Gasper, and Joshua Gasper (Brittany); grandchildren Sierra Stigall, Seleste Musick, Gavin Musick, Kailee Amos, Bayleigh Gasper, Matthew Gasper, Brayanna Gasper, and Braylynn Gasper; great-grandchildren Urban and Greyson; siblings Rick, Randy, Kim, and Mary-Beth; and trucking friend John Burzynski.

He is preceded in death by his mother Sandra, grandson Camdyn, and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, from 1-3pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
