Bertha Marie Mckenzie

Bertha Marie McKenzie, age 86, of Anderson, passed away at her home on June 9, 2022. She was born on May 10, 1936, to the late Frank McMahan and Martha (Doles) McMahan.

Bertha was a retiree of General Motors after many years of service. Most recently she was a member of the East Side House of Prayer Church. Bertha was a wonderful piano player and would only play for Jesus and her church. She knew all hymns by heart and could flow into any song she was playing. She was in many home ech clubs throughout her life. She was a exceptional woman who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Bertha is survived by her stepson Daniel McKenzie (Dianna); step-grandchildren April McKenzie, Jeff Parkhurst (Michelle), and Mark McKenzie; step-great-grandchildren Destiny (Travis), Zebadiah, Treyfloyd (Madisyn), Nicole, Jeffrey, and Caleb; and step-great-great-grandchildren Jason, Kayson, and Kaine.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above, husband Rolland McKenzie, and stepchildren Mindy Hill and Robert McKenzie.

Cremation was chosen through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
