Betty Ann Addington

Betty Ann Addington, 81, of Anderson, passed away on April11, 2017. She was born on March 28, 1936in Wise County, Virginia to the late Carson Perry and Minnie Moore. Betty was a member of the Living Word WorshipCenter. She worked at Marsh for 10 yearsand was a nurses’ aide for several years. Betty loved gardening and cooking. She is survived by her: son, Timothy Kevin Addington; siblings, CarolMoore (Ginger), Carolyn Sue Winfrey (J.T.), Wanda Ashba, Brenda Sutton(Howard), David Moore (Barb), Mona Brown (Jack); and many nieces andnephews. Betty is preceded in death byher: husband, Jimmy K. Addington; son, Ricky Kyle Addington; sister, NancyMoore; brothers, Jimmy and Robert Moore; along with her parents mentionedabove. Services will be 12 pm, on Saturday,April 15, 2017, at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, with visitationstarting at 10 am until the time of service. Burial to follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to theAlzheimer’s Association. The familywould like to thank all of the staff at Rawlins House in Pendleton, especiallythe: nurses, Mike, Shawn, and Courtney; and aides, Emily, Candy, Brandy,Brenda, and Alexandria; along with all of the nurses, aides, and chaplain withGreat Lakes Hospice, for taking such great care of Betty.
