Obituary:
Betty Ruth Beauchamp, a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on May 23, 2024, in Anderson, Indiana. Born on December 5, 1932, in Stricklet, Kentucky, Betty touched the lives of many through the way she lived her life.
Betty will be remembered for her strong work ethic and her unwavering love for her family. She was known to be hardworking, ornery at times, yet incredibly loving and caring towards those around her. Beyond her professional life, Betty found joy in reading, bird watching, gardening, canning food, and even riding the lawn mower.
One of Betty's proudest accomplishments was being a proud member of the 5th St. United Methodist Church in Anderson. Her faith was an integral part of her life and she found solace and community within her church. She worked as a dedicated Paraeducator in the Anderson School Systems for 20+ years.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, William Beauchamp; daughters Cathy Dietzer and Carla Lawson (Randy); grandsons Jason Beck and Derrick Lawson (Meghan); sister Deloris Nichols; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Marion and Myrtle (Rankin) Brewer; and siblings Katherine Ladwig, Harry Brewer, Leva Brewer, James Brewer, and Pauline Barry.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on May 29, 2024, at 11:00 AM followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 PM at 504 W 9th St in Anderson to honor and celebrate Betty's life.
In honoring Betty Ruth Beauchamp's memory, let us remember her dedication to education, love for family, and passion for life. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
