Blake Lawrence Brown

September 25, 1991 — January 29, 2025

Blake Lawrence Brown, 33, of Anderson, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on January 29, 2025. Born on September 25, 1991, to Timothy Brown and Luanne Conner. Blake was a proud father to his son, Braxton, who was the light of his life.

Blake’s passions were many and varied, from the thrill of racing and the tranquility of fishing to cheering for any University of Michigan sports team. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in nature—whether hiking, camping, or simply being outside. He enjoyed playing baseball with Braxton, creating memories on and off the field.

Blake had a compassionate heart. He was also a bit stubborn and often misunderstood but was persistent and loyal. He was always adventurous and full of life. He attended Freedom House Church, where he found community and faith.

Blake is survived by his beloved son, Braxton Brown; his parents, Luanne (Karla) Conner and Tim (Kris) Brown; and siblings, Kyle (Brookelyn) Brown and Lindsey Brown. He will also be missed by his stepsiblings, Shelbi, Mandi, Sam, Kaleb, and Trevor; his grandparents, Larry Benton, Karen Barrigan, and John Brown; Great grandmother Juanita Bentonaunts; aunts and uncles including Vickie Needler, JJ Gray, Jim (April) Brown, Alisa (Andres) Briones, and Scott (Melinda) Benton; nieces and nephews Aubrey, Markus, Jonas, Marley, and River. His circle extended to numerous cousins, including his close cousins Courtney and Dustin.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, LaVonne Benton, and his Aunt Connie Jordan.

Blake’s adventurous spirit and unwavering loyalty will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.  His legacy of love, resilience, and adventure lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.
