My Family Tree (Roots)
My family tree grows straight and tall, inspite of the abuse to its branches and
through it all it grew proud and strong and deep within, it reflects and enhances.
The trunk of this tree is rugged and rough and can withstand alot of
bad weather and betrays for it will stand tall and erect forever and always.
The limbs of this tree sprung forth in the sun some weak and some strong
but through it all, it grew straight and tall, after all was said and done.
In order for this tree to prosper and grow, the roots had to be planted deep
and let not wind, nor rain, nor darkest night shake loose these roots or defeat.
This tree grew straight and tall, proud and strong because of God’s love
for it, and all the abuse it daily took didn’t up root it’s roots one bit.
For you see this tree is an oak tree, strongest tree of them all
when God planted this tree there was no way it could fall.
Through all the changes this tree went through, it helped this
tree to be strong, and let it be known that tree is God’s own.
