Bobby E. Carter

Bobby E. Carter, 85, of Indianapolis, passed away on May 30, 2021. He was born on May 28, 1936 in Gallatin, TN to the late John B. and Ruby (Scruggs) Carter. Bobby was the owner of several Service Stations for many years, working as a mechanic. He retired in 1977. He loved flea marketing and playing the lottery.

Bobby is survived by his sons, Robert Carter, Jr. and Ricky Carter; daughters, Pamela Glaub (Nathan) and Carrie Nicholson (Earl); and 10 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen “Jane” Carter and son, William “Billy” Carter.

Services will be in Indiana on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 1pm at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue with visitation to start at 12pm, until the time of the service. A graveside service will be in Tennessee on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 2pm at Old Brush Cemetery, South Portland, TN, with burial to follow.
