Bobby G Flowers

Bobby G Flowers, age 76, of Alexandria, passed away at Community Hospital on February 15, 2019. He was born on July 12, 1942 to the late Joe and Robbie Flowers.

Bob was a graduate of Highland High school class of 1960. He was a long time member of the Central Indiana Bluegrass Association and served as Treasurer. He worked on the farm with Tim and Dale Washburn and he was a owner-operator driving a semi for over 30 years. Through his CB handle he was known as the “Checker Man.” Bob will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him.

Bob is survived by his son Scott Flowers; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings Betty Hughes, Wanda Dray, Hazel Flowers, Edie Storm (Steve), Judy Erwin (Dan), Keith Flowers (Lyn), Jerry Flowers, and Roy (Leah) Flowers; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his son Bobby Lee Flowers and his parents.

Visitation will be held on February 21, 2019 from 5-7pm with a funeral service beginning at 7pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson. Pastor Brad Storm will be officiating.
