Bobby G. Scott

Bobby G. Scott, age 81, of Anderson, passed away on March 21, 2021. He was born in Burksville, Kentucky on July 16, 1939 to the late Emmitt and Lyda Scott.

Bobby was a kind and honest man. He was one of 16 children, so he went to work at a young age. Throughout his life he became extremely talented at carpentry and construction. He built house boats and homes from the ground up. He naturally had the basic construction knowledge and building came easy to him. He was a fun-loving man who loved to travel and spend time with his friends. He taught his two boys everything they know. He spent a lot of time outdoors, at Dale Hollow Lake, or visiting Kentucky. He was a family man through and through who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bobby is survived by his son Jimmy (Candy) Scott; grandchildren Eli Scott, Josie (Grant) Achenbach, Sophie Scott; great-grandson Otto Achenbach; and one sister.

He is preceded in death by his parents listed above; son Dennis Scott; and seven brothers and seven sisters.

A visitation will be held on March 29. 2021 from 4-6pm with a funeral service beginning at 6pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
