Bonita Miller

May 30, 1941 — April 15, 2020

Anderson, Indiana

Bonita “Bonnie” Miller, 78, passed away from the Covid-19 on Wednesday evening, April 15, 2020, at Community Hospital. She was a resident of Bethany Pointe Health Campus. She was born on May 30, 1941, in Anderson, Indiana, daughter to the late Martha Hutton and J. Earl Edwards.

Bonnie is survived by her husband Lee Miller of 42 years, and her four children, Kyra Miller, Greg Clark and wife Kim, Kyle Clark and wife Sally, Brian Clark and wife Rebecca, and stepdaughter Holly Hughes and husband Brandon. Grandchildren Kayla Gilley, Jonathon Clark, Bonita Ortega, Josh Clark, Matt Sokol, and Audra Sokol as well as many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister Michelle Woschitz and husband Joseph Woschitz and brother Gary Edwards.

She helped run the family business, Miller Surveying, in Noblesville, IN, for many years with her husband. As an avid pet-lover, Bonnie opened a pet shop (Wings and Things), showed dogs in competitions, raised chickens, and provided a home for several family pets from cats, dogs to exotic birds. Bonnie enjoyed life as a homemaker with a skilled and immense passion for cooking.

Bonnie also loved frequent trips to her Florida home and traveling around the world. She was always generous, quick to laugh, an avid music lover, and knew the “correct” way to organize anything from car trunks to bedroom closets.

She was a strong, determined, and fiercely independent woman. We will miss her every day.

Due to Covid-19, funeral services will be held privately.  Bonnie will be entombed at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Please share condolences and favorite memories with the family.

Donations to the Madison County Humane Society at www.[email protected] will be gratefully appreciated.
