Bonnie J. Wilson Divine, 94, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 6, 2020. She was born in Salem, IN on November 23, 1925 to the late John and Orpha Cornwell.
Bonnie graduated from Campbellsburg High School, Salem, IN. She also graduated from Beauty College in Indianapolis, IN opened her own Beauty Salon on New York St. for 9 years. After selling shop, she turned her basement into her salon for 8 more years. Bonnie was a member of the United Methodist Church downtown. She was always helping out with all the special projects they had going on.
Bonnie loved to work in the yard with her flowers, like to crochet and sew. She made quilts. She liked to travel.
Bonnie is survived by her sons, Rick Wilson (Simone) and Steve Wilson; 7 Grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren. She also is survived by brother, John J Cornwell and wife Nancy. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above, along with her husbands, Wayne Divine and Fred Wilson.
Bonnie’s final resting place will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to FEED THE CHILDREN.
