Bonnie Rose Miller, age 88, of Indianapolis, IN died on November 23, 2022 at her home. She was born on March 13, 1934 to the late Irving and Ima (Moody) Medlock, Sr.
She was an active member of the West Morris Free Methodist Church, and her final employment was working for the Free Methodist World Ministries – North America. She was an avid “gamer” before the term was even known. Cross Words, Word Search, Euchre, Progressive Gin, and any board game was no match for her! She had an independent spirit and love for her family and faith was the cornerstone of her life.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Mark Miller of Ocala, FL, Anita (John) Baylor of Fort Branch, IN and Michael Miller of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Shelby (Lija) Workman, JT Baylor and Charity Baylor; brothers, Irving Medlock, Jr. and Frank Medlock as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice D. Miller; parents, Irving and Ima Medlock; brothers, Kenny and Jim Medlock and Vernon Beck; sisters, Doris Fuchs, Betty Johnson and Opal Stutz.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Indianapolis, 1604 W. Morris Street, Indianapolis. Funeral Services will be held the following day on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Kristen Marble officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Garden in Greenwood.
