Bradley Marvin Britton

January 11, 1962 — April 10, 2025

Anderson, IN

Bradley Marvin Britton, 63, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on April 10, 2025. Born on January 11, 1962, in Anderson, he was the son of Robert “Bob” and Eva Britton.

Brad was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast who began flat track racing as a young boy and worked his way from amateur to professional. His love for motorcycles—especially Harleys—never faded. As his father once told his mother, “We’re going to get him a bike so we can watch him enjoy,” and enjoy it he did for a lifetime.

Brad had many passions. He loved woodworking with his grandfather, gardening and taking pride in his flower beds, and eating the spiciest food he could find—if he wasn’t sweating, it wasn’t hot enough. He loved hunting with his dad, fishing, camping, riding ATVs with his brother, and enjoying the action at Anderson Speedway.

He had a soft spot for family, and his greatest joy was being an amazing dad to his three daughters, a loving son and brother, and a proud grandpa to his grandchildren. He enjoyed going to the grandkids games and events. He supported his family in every way. Brad was always helping others. The first winter he owned a snow plow for his John Deer mower, he cleared everyone’s driveway in the neighborhood without hesitation.

Despite his tough, long-haired country boy appearance, Brad was kind, gentle, and deeply caring. He played guitar, enjoyed a good game of solitaire on his computer, loved grilling out, and especially appreciated Chris’ cooking. Brad saw the best in everyone—if he was tough on you, it was because he believed in you.

He was a devoted partner to Tracy Harrison for 15 years and a man who left a lasting impact on everyone he met. One of his sons-in-law said it best: “I met him at my worst, and he helped me become my best.”

Brad is survived by his beloved mother, Eva Britton; his partner, Tracy Harrison; his daughters Britney (Chris) Durham, Alyssa Britton, and Stephani (Craig) Kemper; stepchildren Terri Harrison, Kerry McClain, and John(Heather) McClain; grandchildren Gwen, Kyler, Nonnie, and Victor Durham, Lilyana, Kolden, and Jayden Kemper, Haley McDole, and Julian, Bradley, and Sloan McClain; his brother Brian (Donna) Britton; nieces Wendy (Jason) Hannah and Mendy (Eric) Anderson; nephew Adam Gray; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Britton.
