Brittany Nicole Ellis, born on July 18, 1989, in Anderson, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on September 21 2024, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Brittany was cherished for her vibrant personality, well-known for her sense of humor and quick wit, which endeared her to everyone she encountered. Her ability to make those around her laugh was a hallmark of her character, reflecting a free spirit that illuminated even the darkest of days.
A fan of fashion and music, Brittany shared a deep appreciation for the timeless elegance of Marilyn Monroe, a passion she inherited from her mother. She had an eclectic taste in music, enjoying everything from country to upbeat rap. Recently, Brittany had taken up fishing, discovering joy in the peacefulness, much like her father.
Brittany’s love for life, laughter, and family made her deeply beloved by those who knew her. She leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever remember her exuberance and the joy she brought into their lives. Her spirit will continue to inspire and resonate with all who were fortunate enough to have shared in her journey.
Brittany is survived by her Grandmother Beverly Peyton; Sisters- Angie Ellis (Elliot Swallows), Chastity (Peyton) Cady (Brian Elbert), Angel (Marlow) Rigsbee (Jeremy Pollen); Brothers- Mike Ellis, Kenneth Kidwell; Children- Patron, Kash and Kingston; Aunts- Melody (Peyton) DiRuzza; Uncles- Kevin Ellis, Lance Peyton; Nephews- Jacob Swallows, Michael Ellis Jr., Malaki Hobbs, Jaiden Young, Kagun Kidwell; Nieces- Arianna Adams, Taylor Rigsbee, Meadow Rigsbee, Jovi Pollen, Olivia Pollen; Special Friend- Eric; Special Friend- Shoney; Several- Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; Step mother Jennifer Ellis and Cousin Kendra Kidwell.
She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandfather Donald Peyton, Paternal Grandmother Christina Ellis Rigney, Mother, Father, and Uncles Jeff, Tom and John Ellis, and Aunts Ann Ball and Elaine Ellis.
Funeral services will be held at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services 504 W. 9th St. Anderson, IN on Monday September 30th, 2024. A visitation will be held from 2pm to 4pm, with the service beginning at 4pm.
