Bryan Michael Day

Bryan Michael Day, age 41, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.  He was born on August 27, 1977 in Fontana, CA.

Bryan is survived by his Parents, Nancy and Thom Ackerly, Michael H. Day and his Step Dad and Mentor Randy Mathis as well as his Life Partner, Andrea Sams of 15 years and his 4 children, Kaylee Day, age 19, Kyle Smith, age 17, Delaney Day, age 10, Samuel Day, age 3, sister, Kristie Ackerly, brothers, Thomas and Troy Ackerly, Aunt, Sharon Jackson, Uncles, William Jackson, Jay Jackson and George Jackson. He is also survived by Nieces, Jane Sydnor, age 9 & Juliet Sydnor, age 4 and Nephew, Rowan Spencer, age 2 and many other family members as well as close friends.

Bryan had a quiet and immeasurable strength and was a fearless protector of all things important to him especially his children. He never said no to helping out family and friends and he always had that smile on his face that made you want to smile too.  He demonstrated perseverance and resilience to all who had the privilege to walk the journey with him. Bryan’s final act of kindness, and love was to give the gift of life through being an organ donor and has given hope to others for a longer and healthier life because of his generosity.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
