Carlos Garcia-Lugo

Carlos Garcia-Lugo, age 81 of Guayama, Puerto Rico passed away Saturday, December 01, 2018. He graduated High School in Puerto Rico and joined the U.S. Military (Army) in 1955. Carlos was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was a fisherman who enjoyed regatta with his father. He was also a welder who enjoyed meeting new people, sports (especially baseball), and writing poetry.
Carlos was preceded in death by his lovely wife of 51 years, Hilda Anes Moret, his parents Carlos Garcia and Manuela Lugo. And his brothers William Garcia-Lugo and Fernando Garcia-Lugo(Elsa).
He is survived by his sister, Modesta Garcia Texidor(Ephraim); sister, Gladys Garcia de Quirindongo(Mingo), Angel Garcia-Lugo(Viki), Norma Garcia-Suarez(Marcelo), Hector Pipi Garcia-Lugo(Enes).
Carlos leaves to cherish his memories his children, son, Carlos Garcia III (Elizabeth), son; Carlos Javier Garcia (Maria); and daughter Hilda Enid Garcia(Shaundra). Grandchildren: Ana Lisa Garcia, Carlitos Garcia, Angel Garcia, Jazzmine Razaa, Joshua Carlos Garcia, Jeremiah David Garcia, Jada Elizabeth Garcia, Jonathan David Garcia, Samuel Eduardo Garcia. Great grandchildren: Nayeli Razaa, and Aiden Rivera and a host of nieces and nephews including Silkia(Magaly) Lugo Garcia.

Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 PM Saturday, December 8, 2018 at The Journey Church, 5250 East U.S. Highway 36 #430, Avon, IN 46123 with Pastor Tim Parson officiating. The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by the V.A. Hospital (Doctors & Staff, The Grace Team), Golden Gardens Adult Day Center, Genesis Decatur Township Center, Two Daughters with a Heart, and The Journey Church Family.
