63, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 25, 2016. She was born on August 6, 1953 to the lateCleve Douglas and Winona Lee Mitchell. Carmenis preceded in death by her husband, Vernell Rule.

She is survived by: brothers, Ronnie Mitchell, DannyMitchell (Teri), and Doug Mitchell (Joyce); her only sister, Carietha Ford Markey(Spencer); daughters, Angela Brown Gindratt (Joseph), Susie Parker (Tywann),and Samantha Rule (Dwight); four grandchildren, Tony Rule, Kejuan Williams(Tiara), Forever Rule Greer, and Dwight Rule Greer; one great-granddaughter,Geyonei Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral service will be 12pm on Saturday, November 5, 2016at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence, 5215 N. ShadelandAvenue, with visitation from 10am until the time of service. Burial to follow at Washington Park EastCemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana
