Carol Jean Davis

Carol Jean Davis went to be with her husband and son on October 15, 2017.

She was born January 9, 1939 to Clara and Raymond Richey on the same land that her mother was born on. She was greeted in heaven by her Parents, Sister Beverly, Husband John and Son Chris. She is survived by her sister Nancy Terry (Charlie) and Brother Mike Richey {Ginny}
Married in 1957 to John Davis. Together they had 6 children Cindy Alexander, Gidget Green, Ginny and Robbie Green, Nick, Chris & Mike (Angie) Davis.
They were blessed with 12 grandchildren Joey Green, Ryan Green, Kyle Green, Robin Green, Mandy Patrick, Eli Alexander, Robert {Bear} Alexander,
Holly Davis Schaefer, Claire Alexander, Harry Alexander, Chris Davis & Michelle Davis and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
She loved being a stay home Mom. She enjoyed making all of the families clothes when her children were little along with vests for her husband throughout the years. She made wedding dresses and brides maid dresses for 2 of her daughters and many girls in the neighborhood. She was an excellent cook, loved to knit and crochet. She was an avid reader and was a whiz at crossword puzzles.
Instead of flowers Carol wanted all of you to spend time with your families. She said 'Flowers die but memories last forever. So go make some memories”
Carol’s visitation will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 12:00-1:00pm with funeral starting at 1:00pm at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services 1604 W. Morris Street, Indianapolis, IN. Burial to follow same day at Floral Park Cemetery
