Carol Marie Murray Larsen, 73

Born July 31, 1947 to David & L. Marie (Nelson) Murray, in Indianapolis, IN. Carol attended George Washington H.S., before moving to Ben Davis H.S., where she graduated from in 1963. She enjoyed attending reunions and catching up with old friends from both schools, as well as friends she had made at Westlake Beach Club. She was a lifelong member of Westside Church of the Nazarene and had recently retired from Hoosier Motor Club after nearly 12 years as an Accounting Clerk. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, John Wayne movies, murder mysteries, the Hallmark channel, Vit. D milk and Cheerios. The usual highlights of her week were always visiting with her beloved Kellygirl over dinner at Wing’s Etc., having Nikki & Daniel over to fix her computer, and hearing all about the twins’ lastest antics from TC. She was quite proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed her time with them and their spouses.

Carol departed this world on August 10, 2020, to what I picture was her loving son waiting with a (real) Pepsi and pretzel sticks. Oh, how she loved her pretzels!

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Chris, and great grandson Brayden. Carol leaves behind her daughter Cindy, grandson Tim and wife Amanda, granddaughter Nikki and husband Daniel, and granddaughter Kelly, as well as great grandsons Gordon and Graham. She is survived by brothers David, Wayne and wife Angie, nieces Sarah, Heather and husband Nick, as well as great nieces and great nephews, plus more cousins than I could count.

My Mother enjoyed wearing a mask so much, that I decided to bury her in it. Just kidding! Thanks to Covid, she won’t be spending eternity in the waters of Alaska, so will have to settle for whatever body of water I can drive to. Sorry Mom!!
