It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Chad Kempner, 50, on January 18, 2025. Chad was a man of many passions, known for his love of Earnhardt's NASCAR, wrestling, and working on cars. He had a special talent for building and tuning stereo systems, often turning any car or space into a booming masterpiece. A longtime fan of SpongeBob SquarePants, Chad's infectious sense of humor and larger-than-life personality were a source of joy to all who knew him.
Chad’s dedication extended beyond his personal interests to his community, where he was a proud participant in the VFW color guard, honoring the military with pride and commitment. His enthusiasm for life and his unwavering loyalty to his family and friends will be greatly missed.
Chad leaves behind his beloved son, Gavin Kempner, his father, John Kempner, his fiancée, June Schattner, and his brother, Derek Kempner. He is also survived by his niece, Mackenzie Kempner, and a host of loving family members, including his Aunt Kay Fry, Uncle Mark (Michelle) Vandezande, Uncle Paul (Vicky) Vandezande, Aunt Lisa Zimmerman, and Aunt Terry (Virgil) Cross, as well as several cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Kempner, and his uncle, Charlie Fry. Chad’s family takes comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on through them, and they are grateful for the memories of a life well-lived.
