Charles D. Burdine

87, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on July 5, 2021 in Avon, Indiana.  Charles was born on February 28, 1934 in Maplewood, Indiana to the late Audie and Mary Ann Burdine.  He retired from Swifty Oil after twenty years there.  Previously he had worked as a machinist for Mitchell & Scott Machine Company for thirty years.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Whiting and his parents.  He is survived by his wife, Vera C. Burdine; children, Karla (Doug) Bodie, Charlotte (Robert) Taylor, Joshua Burdine, Timothy Siebenthal and Nancy Miller, Stepsons; Christopher Brown and Joshua (Geof) Brown,  several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 1130a to 130p at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services- Indianapolis.

Graveside services will be held same day at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN.
