Charles Webler

Charles Edward Webler, 80, passed away on October 20, 2024, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on November 23, 1943, in Harrisburg, Illinois and adored his hometown where he was raised by loving grandparents, Suzie and Charles Ledford. At home in Indianapolis, Charles worked for General Motors for thirty years.

He will be remembered as a man of many talents. Charles took joy in body building with Peak Performance. Charles was a true romantic and enjoyed the theatre, taking his beloved wife to favorite classics, including West Side Story. He loved nature and spending time watching birds and kayaking. He was often inspired by nature for his art and writing, often penning what he called “seeds of thought”. Always good with words, Chares was a gifted conversationalist and loved sharing stories with family and friends.

Charles is preceded in passing by Colin Webler. His memory will be forever cherished by loving wife, Robbie; daughter, Angela Abbot (Jim) Elizabeth Henry (David); and grandchildren, Holli Noel and Patrick.

Cremation arrangements made by Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services—Lawrence. In honor of his wishes, no formal funeral service will be held.
