Bloomington – Christine Ann Payne, 65, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2018. She was born on February 27, 1953 to the late John Frances Payne and Barbara Jean (Macfee) Payne.
In spite of her handicap, Chris lived a very full life. Chris was an incredibly witty person. She enjoyed watching old tv shows such as The Andy Griffith Show, Family Affair, and Dennis the Mennis. She was known for her love and skill of bowling, even participating in the Special Olympics. Chris had an incredible memory. She loved to listen to old music, including Frank Sinatra and Motown. She loved to sing and even started taking voice lessons. She will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew her.
Chris is survived by her siblings Kit Titter, Barbara Mendenhall, Scott Payne (Tammy) and Rob Payne (Carol); Nieces and Nephews Robyn Wilkes (Erik), Samantha Reeves (Ryan), Katie Payne, James Thompson (Lynn), and Nick Wilson (Leah); 5 great nieces and nephews and special life- long friend Debbie.
She is preceded in death by her parents and the love of her life, Steve.

Visitation will be from 12-1pm on Tuesday July 17, 2018 at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Lawrence. Funeral services following at 1pm. Burial at Memorial Park Cemetery.
