Christopher Matthew Hubbard

Christopher Matthew “Bub” Hubbard, 30, of Indianapolis, passed away at home on December 24, 2018 in the early morning.  He was born on January 24, 1988 in Indianapolis to Rickie and Jackie (Jones) Hubbard. Bub went to school at Warren Central High School, Indianapolis, IN.  He was disabled but had recently been accepted for a SSD back to work program. Bub was a member of a few local Honda and Civic clubs. You could often see him at Starbucks drinking a black unsweetened iced tea with 12 Equals.

Bub loved to fish, hunt, go mudding, camping and hiking. What he loved most was mechanic work, which he shared a love for with his father.

Christopher is preceded in death by his father, Rickie Hubbard; grandparents, Gerald “Jerry” Jones, Anna & Herman Hubbard; and uncle, Richard “Richie” Monroe.

He is survived by his children, Emma Jackson of New Palestine, Aidden, AnnaLena & GraceyLynn Hubbard, who are in his mother’s care; mother, Jackie Hubbard (Brian Griffith); sisters, Kristi Hubbard (Tony Forgione) and Kaitlynn Hubbard (Markie Hargrave); grandmother, Nancy McDaniel; great-grandmother, Helen Lieske; Papaw, Richard “Dickie” Monroe; Granny, Constance “Connie” Monroe; aunts, Joyce (Hermer) Quispe, Dawn (Ed) Wood, Tonyia Hubbard and Tara (Pat) Renaud; uncles, Danny (Barbie) Hubbard and Shawn McDaniel; along with nieces and nephews, Abbi, Kristen and Aaron Haider, whom he loved very much.

Services will be at 1pm on Friday, January 4, 2018 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with visitation starting at 11am until the start of the service.  Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hubbard children for their trust.
