Clarence Robinson
77, of Indianapolis,passed away on December 14, 2016. He was born on March 21, 1939 at (home) 819 Buchanan Street in Indianapolis.
Clarence graduated from Tech High School where he ran cross country and track. While in high school, his drafting teacher was approached by an employment recruiter from IPL. The drafting teacher was asked for the names of his 5 best draftsmen. Clarence was one of those 5people. So, immediately after high school he started working for IPL,where he worked for nearly 38 years. He eventually became one of the best Power Consultants in Indianapolis.
Clarence is survived by brother, Frank Robinson and sisters, Mary Hurst (Jerry), Sharon Arthur, BettyLacey and Kathleen McCain. Son, Steve Robinson, daughter, Nancy Robinson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by ex-wife Joyce HopeLamkin Robinson, sister, Della Jane Black and brother, George Robinson.
Clarence was always generous with his time andtalents. He was always busy fixing everything from toasters to cars for all who asked. Often the most he would accept as payment was a home cooked meal. He is loved and missed dearly by all.
Services are at 12noon,on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215N. Shadeland Avenue, with visitation from 11am until the time of service. Burial to follow at Washington Park EastCemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
