Cleopatra Nicole French was born August 4, 1981 to her parents, James French and Marcella (Beverly) Foster in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Everyone in the family called her “Cleo” and she has touched every single one of us in a different way. Cleo was loving, strong and blunt, which was some of her best traits. She would speak her mind immediately when she felt some type of way and always kept it real. She loved her children and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them. She loved joking around, being on the grill, and didn’t play about her cigarettes.
God brought Cleo home Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the young age of 40 years old. She was preceded in death by father, James French and bonus father, Edward Foster. Cleo was loved by all member of her family. Many family members were gathered as she passed. As she took her last breaths, her daughter, Iyonna Evans and sister, Angela (Renee) were there to comfort her.
Cleo leaves to cherish precious memories of her life in the hears of her mother, Marcella (Beverly) Foster; her daughters, Iyonna Evans, Dalaysha Lewis, and Jamiyah Young; her sons, Damonta French and Jameson Young; her sisters, Sharon Sears, Angela Ratcliff (Gregg), and Annette (Nettie) Riley (Roy); her brothers, Frank Sears and Tarence French; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
