Connie Gale Mcquinn Alonzo

Connie Gale McQuinnAlonzo, 60, went to be with the Lord Monday, June 27^th at 4:50am. She was born to Thelma Jean Bowers Tusing and Harold McQuinn in Kokomo, IN on April 26^th 1956. She was the loving wife of Pete Alonzo, Jr. They shared 25 years of their lives together. She wasa mother to Autumn Wisely, Jessica Williams and Quinn Alonzo. Grandmother to Taylor Bromagen, Jayla & DeAngelo Toney and Amaya & Olivia Williams.

She was a graduate of Western High School, went on to study cosmetology starting her first business as a hairstylist. She co-owned and managed Maverick Construction and later became a part of the AFSCME family. She was a member of The National Association of Professional Women. She was successful, adventurous, embraced diversity and a mentor to many.

She was a dedicated volunteer in costume design at YAT, Young Actors Theater. Her favorite past times were riding her Soft Tail Deluxe Harley Davidson, quilting &sewing, and fellowship with her girlfriends. Her happiest moments were enjoying the company of her family and listening to them play music.

To know her was to love her, she was the true definition of a selfless giver. She had a good heart,soft but strong, unapologetic and honest. Her life was full of beautiful memories.

She is survived by her spouse, siblings, Lisa Willis, Mark McQuinn, and Marty Turner, her soul sister and best friend Michelle Fantauzzo, children, grandchildren and friends that became family. She will be deeply missed. She is predeceased by her grandparents, Orem & Martha McQuinn, Harlan & Maude Bowers, parents,brother Kent McQuinn and her dear Aunt Helen Wolfe.

Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 1st 12-2pm
