Crystal Lawson

Crystal Lee Lawson, a devoted wife, mother, sister, and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2024, in Marion County. Born in Indianapolis, IN, she was the cherished daughter of the late Glen Lifford Sr. and Edna Lifford.

Crystal's life was a testament to her deep faith and unwavering love. She was a passionate follower of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, finding joy and purpose in her spiritual journey. Her devotion extended to her family, especially her husband, the late David Lawson, whose memory she held close to her heart.

Crystal found solace and delight in the natural world, reveling in the beauty of the sun, moon, stars, flowers, and trees. Her appreciation for the outdoors was matched only by her love for good company and good food. She cherished moments spent with loved ones, always welcoming them with warmth and generosity.

Prayer was a cornerstone of Crystal’s life. She maintained a profound and personal dialogue with her Lord and Savior, finding strength and comfort in her faith. Her life reflected her belief in the power of prayer and the importance of spiritual connection.

Crystal is preceded in death by her parents and her husband David Lawson.

Crystal is survived by: daughters, Dawn Eastridge, Elizabeth Wilson and JoAnna Watts; brothers, Glen Lifford Jr. and Kimmy Lifford; sisters, Znya Spears and Tempest Branch; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above; along with her brothers, Tommy Lifford and Donnie Lifford.

A celebration of Crystal’s life will be held at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services -- Lawrence on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Visitation will begin at 3:00PM with funeral services at 4:00PM.
