Curtis Perry Clemmons, born on May 13, 2000, in Anderson, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on January 4, 2025.
Curtis was a dedicated and reliable employee at UPS, where his colleagues often remarked that having Curtis on their team meant that they had an exceptional coworker. His commitment to his work and the quality he brought to the workplace reflected his strong character and work ethic.
Curtis achieved a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University, showcasing not only his intelligence but also his determination and ambition. He navigated his academic journey with the same sincerity and diligence that characterized all aspects of his life.
Those who knew Curtis recognized him as a quiet yet profoundly special individual. He possessed a unique ability to connect with others and was adept at leading without needing to be in the spotlight. His athletic prowess was evident in his childhood, particularly through his excellence in baseball, a sport he embraced with enthusiasm. In addition to sports, he enjoyed spending time playing video games, showcasing his varied interests and hobbies.
His personality was marked by clarity and wit, and those fortunate enough to have known him appreciated his friendly demeanor and sense of humor. Curtis embodied qualities that endeared him to his peers and made him a cherished friend.
Curtis is survived by his parents Lloyd and Dixie (Trueblood) Clemmons; siblings Joseph Christopher Clemmons and Cody Jay Branch; Uncle Samuel Clemmons (Teresa), Aunt LeeAnn Sell (Bob), Aunt Terri Holaday; grandmother Barabara Trueblood; cousin Michael Clemmons; and many other close family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his sister Olyvia Branch-Harris; grandparents Joseph and Charlene Clemmons; Aunt Judith Scott; and Uncle Charles Clemmons.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday January 21, 2025, from 2-4pm with a funeral service beginning at 4pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services - Anderson.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Pendleton Little League.
Curtis Clemmons leaves behind a legacy of kindness, intelligence, and a genuine spirit that will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him. His life, though shortened, was filled with meaning and will resonate in the hearts of many.
