Cynthia Jo Neargardner

Cynthia Jo Neargardner, 56, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 24, 2021. She was born on February 13, 1965 in Bowling Green, KY to Gary and Mary Jo (Vanderpool) Chafton. Cynthia graduated from Warren Central High School in 1983. She attended Kay Beauty School. Cynthia also worked in the tree service business.

Cynthia loved anything to do with water. She also enjoyed camping and painting.

She is preceded in death by her father, Gary Chafton.

Cynthia is survived by her daughters, Jessica Moore, Ashley Neargardner (Scott Settles), Chelsea Thomas (Dalton Deskins), and Taylor Neargardner (Bradley Hamon); grandchildren, Collin, Jerry, Kaylee, Ava and Benjamin; mother, Mary Jo Chafton; siblings, Tersia & Bill; nieces and nephews, Lindsey, Travis, Michael, Brittany and Austin.

Visitation is from 2pm to 3:30pm on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 1604 W. Morris Street, with a service to start at 3:30pm.
