Daniel Nance

Daniel Nance, a cherished lifelong resident of Elwood, Indiana, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was 84 years old.

Born on August 18, 1940, in Elwood, Daniel was deeply rooted in his community. He dedicated much of his life to the family business, Nance Construction, where his craftsmanship and dedication were integral to its success. For thirteen years, Daniel also served as the park superintendent, a role he embraced with passion and commitment, helping to create and maintain spaces where countless families enjoyed recreational activities.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. Nance and Denzil Nance; his brother, Richard Nance; and his beloved daughter, Amber Nance.

Daniel Nance will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his family, his dedication to his work, and his genuine love for his community. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
