Darla D. Lockhart

Darla D. Lockhart, age 69, of Anderson, passed away on April 23, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born in El Paso, Texas on March 26, 1951 to the late Wes and Elsie Cuzzart.

Darla was a fighter and fought cancer for almost two years. She was deep in her faith and was a believer in Jesus. In her free time, Darla loved crafting and playing with her puppies. She loved her family deeply. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Darla is survived by her husband of 21 years, Darren Lockhart; children Robert Phipps (Jenny) and Davy Phipps (Melissa); grandchildren Meghann, Morgann, April, Rachael, Christina, and Bobby; great-grandchildren Uriah, Izabella, Aiden, Ace, Aubry, Delilah, Bayleigh and Kaidence; siblings Joyce Reeves, Raymond Cuzzart, Yvonna Lawson, and Sheila Harvey; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above, and sister Carolyn Perry.

A private family service will be held on April 29, 2020 at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
