Mr. David Keith Jacob

David Keith Jacob, age 77, of McCordsville, IN died on December 31, 2021 at his residence.  He was born on August 27, 1944 in Norfolk, VA to the late Keith and Virginia (DeBilt) Jacob.

He served in the US Army from 1965 – 1971.  He was a produce manager for Safeway Grocery Stores for 43 years.  On September 8, 2001 he married Annette E. Buergelin.  He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and the American Legion Post 500.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 20 years, Annette E. Jacob; stepchildren, Chris (Khija) Buergelin and John (Rosie) Buergelin; grandchildren, Aaron (Kaitlyn) Emery, Taylor Buergelin, Michael Kramer and Hudson Buergelin; 1 great-granddaughter, Saylor Emery; sister, Linda Wilson.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Debbie Wells and stepdaughter, Susan Buergelin.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Ave., Indianapolis.  Burial with Military Honors will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
