David Harvey Stroud

David Harvey Stroud 66, of Martinsville, Indiana passed away February 8, 2025.  David was the son of Clarence Stroud and Avis Stevens. David was a very loving man who did everything he could to provide for his children with what they needed. He was very hard working and never took time off. He was a loving husband to his wife Toni Stroud of 23 years before her passing and dedicated and loving father to his children and grandchildren. In his spare time, he loved to fix things, even if he didn’t want to. He loved to go camping with his family.  He loved farming. He also loved to drive big trucks. He was a jokester and liked to play tricks on his family. 

Left to cherish David's memory are his sisters Leah Stevens (David), Katina Stroud, Lorraine Truitt. Brothers Timothy Stroud and Warren Stevens. Children Barbara Navalance (Dale), Rebecca Stearley, Rose Spell, Eva Vibbert, Benjamin Stroud, Lucas Stroud (Meagan), Kia Bolin, April Robert’s, Zachary Atwood. Nieces and Nephews: Christina Coryell (Monica), Jeremy Stroud (Annie), Tad Stroud, Tiffany Stroud (Nikki), Tony Thomas, Raymond Lee Thomas (Tiffany), Kolby Siler, Drew Truitt, Brandon Truitt (Tiffany), Charlynda Becker (Grant), Cassie Bonner (Dustin), Andrew Mings (Rebel), Nathan McFarland. 20 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. David is proceeded in death by Toni Stroud (Wife), Avis Stevens (Mother), Clarence Stroud (Father), and Kathy Stroud (Sister). 

 Our dad was a great man and will be truly missed.  We as his children are grateful for the time we had with him. 

Services for David will be held on February 21, 2025, at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Serivces-Indpls 

with visitation being held from 1pm to 3pm.
