David Wayne Thomas

David Wayne Thomas, age 49, of Anderson, passed away unexpectedly on February 22, 2021. He was born on January 25, 1972 to the late Larry and Willa May Thomas.

David spent a lot of his earlier years spending time at the Anderson Speedway with his family. He loved to ride go-carts and hang out in the garage with his dad. David was a great guy before he went through hard times. He wasn’t perfect, but he was a good friend and always hard-working. He was a food connoisseur and would try anything once. He enjoyed hanging out with his cousins Bud Harris and Brian McKinney. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

David is survived by his children Matthew Thomas and Haley Thomas; Siblings Amy Wolf-Reason and Larry “Bub” Thomas; nieces and nephews Alissa Wolf, Shawn Wolf, Aaron Wolf, Cody Thomas, and Amanda Ludwig; special uncle Joe McKinney; and several other cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his parents listed above.

Cremation was chosen through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
