Debbie Kay Boehm, 70, passed away on September 2, 2024, in Bartlett, TN. She was born on June 4, 1954, in Indianapolis, IN to William Ricketts and Naomi Turner. Debbie made an impact wherever she went throughout her life including her final resting place of Indianapolis, IN. She has always worked hard her whole life always put her best foot forward and always tried to help and assist with anything and for anyone.
Mom, Gma, and G was an incredible matriarch. Really, she was the regal leader in our family. She baked and cooked and babysat and took us shopping and sewed our new clothes when we were little. She was always present, part of our everyday lives in such a tangible way. She lived her life the best she knew and left this earth wishing that her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren would find safety in this mixed-up world. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, listed above; Left to celebrate her memory are her beloved daughters: Mitzy (Kenneth) Beachem, April (Jim) Mallery, and Erika (Scott) Russell; as well as her grandkids: Jeremy, Malana, Rusty, Heather, Theresa, Shelbi, Kalab, Johnny, and Evan. Lastly, Debbie is survived by her great-grandkids: Annika, Kara, Bryan, Mackinze, Clay, Adian, Jaylena, Skyla, Dayton, Levi, Jerema, Emma, Charlie, Brackstin, Chase, Ameria, Westin, Hailey, and Abigail.
Burial/Cremation arrangements were arranged by Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services. In memory of Debbie, there will be a luncheon at Rodius Park for family and friends which will follow the services at Legacy. All are welcome to come, there will be food and refreshments.
