Noblesville,Indiana- July 27^th, 2016 Debra Lou Roetgerink, 57, died at her home following an extended illness.

She was born February 13, 1959 in Anderson, Indiana to Walter E Hicks and Jennie E (Mroz)Hicks.

Debbie worked as a hair dresser since she was 18 years old. She served her clients at several different locations throughout her career. However, she ended her working years at JimZac Hair Salon, in Anderson Indiana where she loved her co-workers and clients like family.

After retiring, she and her husband Vincent left Anderson. They traveled and met many friends along the way before settling in New Mexico where they enjoyed working with friends on lots of different projects. The stories of their travels are beautiful and brought much joy to Debbie’s life. Debbie loved traveling, cooking, arts,nature, flowers but most of all she love her kitties, Argis and Tig.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Vincent Roetgerink. Her son, Ashley Schrenker (wife Shanea) of Coatesville, In: Two brothers, David Hicks and Tom Hicks, both of Alexandria. A sister in law, Marty Hicksof Alexandria. Several nieces and nephews, and many special friends that became family.

Debbie was preceded in death by her Mother, Jennie Mroz Hicks.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 7^th, 2016 at Unity Church2425 Mounds Road, Anderson, Indiana 46016 at 4:00 pm with Jim Tallman performing the service. Friends are welcome to gather to celebrate the life of Debbie Roetgerink. Arrangements provided by Legacy Cremation& Funeral Services – Lawrence.
