Della Anna Faye Lovett, born on November 19, 1960, in Alexandria, Indiana, passed away on March 19, 2025, in Anderson, Indiana, after a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer. She is now at peace and no longer in pain.

Della stood out in life for her many talents and roles. Known for her intelligence and determination, she held various titles throughout her career, with her role as an accountant being particularly noteworthy. A graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School, she furthered her education and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2005. Della's commitment to her work was evident as she continued to excel professionally, working up until just three weeks before her passing.

Beyond her professional life, Della was a vibrant and loving individual who radiated positivity. Known for her fun-loving and nurturing personality, she was always smiling and made everyone around her feel special. Those who had the privilege of knowing her often described her as “simply the best,” a true warrior who faced the challenges of her illness with extraordinary strength and grace.

Della had a deep love for family and cherished the time spent traveling with her beloved husband, Harold, often embarking on what they fondly referred to as "the family tour." Together, they created countless memories while exploring the beauty of the West, fostering a bond that will be remembered by all who knew them. In addition to her travels, Della enjoyed bowling and was an active participant in a bowling league in Anderson. She also found joy in camping, embracing the great outdoors with enthusiasm.

Della is survived by her husband Harold Lovett; children Megan Carr-Stephens, Erin Carr-Vargas (Armando), Heather Redder (Pete), Randall Lovett, Elizabeth Lovett (Greg), and Gabrielle Lovett; grandchildren Owen and Alyssa Redder, Lauren and Josh Clanton, Sofia and Emma Vargas, Garrett Dovey (Courtney) Abby Stephens, Tucker and Finnegan Lovett, Ariel Wiesneth, and Nathaniel Rivera; siblings Debbie Stone (Tim) and Darrell Cox; and many other cousins and close family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Dwayne and Donna Cox and Brother Dan Cox.

Della leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends, who will carry her memory with them always.
