Della May Terry

Della May Terry, 76, of Indianapolis, passed away on August 6, 2022.  She was born on October 8, 1945, in Tompkinsville, KY to the late Oscar and Stella (Geralds) Monday.  Della graduated in 1962 from Warren Central High School, Indianapolis, IN.  She retired from RCA after 17+ years of doing multiple jobs, including proofing the quality of the recordings themselves.  Della later worked at Walmart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, mentioned above; along with her husband, Rudolph Terry; brother, Arthur Monday of Indianapolis, IN, and grandson, Duane Bert Begley.

Della is survived by her children, Billie Dai Begley, James Earl Shelburne Jr., and Desiree Shelburne; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; and siblings, Beatrice Cleary of Tompkinsville, KY, Louise Morris of Red Oak, TX, and Hettie Williams (Rick) of Wesley Chapel, FL.

Visitation will be Monday, August 15, 2022, from 4pm to 8pm at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue.  Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at 11am at the funeral home.  Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
