Dennis D. Smiley

Dennis D. Smiley (58) of Anderson passed away July 2, 2022 at his home from a brief illness. He was born February 20, 1964 in Anderson, Ind, the son of Thomas Sr and Lydia Smiley.

He enjoyed camping, fishing and music but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends especially his four granddaughters.

He was a machinist at C. F Roark Welding and Engineering for the last 15 years.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years Jennifer Smiley whom he married on July 13, 1990, his son Benjamin (Ashley) Smiley, his daughter Sarah (Mike) Smiley-Pate and his granddaughters Lennox Smiley, Lakynn Smiley, Ramsey Pate and Rinley Pate. His road dog Trigger Smiley and grand dogs Moto Smiley and Tucker Pate. Brothers Thomas Jr and James Smiley. Sisters Cynthia King, Debra Gray and Celia Smiley. Several nieces and nephews. Special Nephew Mickey Gray and Special Friend Gordon Gibson.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Sr and Lydia Smiley. Sisters Mary Jane Anderson and Helen Smiley. Mother and Father in Law Gene and Lena Hollen.

Cremation will take place. No Services. Private Celebration of Life will take place with family at a later date.
