Diasia Faith Destinee Hogan was born on September 1, 1997 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Planned by her proud parents, Jowanna and Daniel Hogan. Being the oldest has it’s challenges, especially being the love child, the one that was planned, but I could tell she was so proud to be the big sister. All the dance routines we made she enjoyed the most. Diasia was actually in a talent show doing a dance routine with a group in the 6th grade when she attended the magnet school Key Learning Community. Not only was she good at dancing, she had other dreams and affirmations. Growing up anytime someone would ask “What would you like to be when you get older?”, she would either day she wanted to be a pediatrician or she’d like to join the military. Having a ferocious, savage like personality, she was also caring, loving and devoted.

The love she has for her family, friends and children is out of this world. She loved her mother and grandmother so much, she gave Colette their names as her middle names. Growing up wasn’t so sweet and she’s so strong. She always came out like a champ. Con’t one thing break Diasia, you’d think she was immortal.

Family for Diasia was so important, she was always close to everyone at one point in time. Diasia so loved her 3 kids, Jimari, Pleasant, and Colette, and they loved her just as much. Her expressions of love and support have carried us through this dark time. Diasia’s faith and love of her children, family and friends have carried her through the difficult chapter in her life. Always so determined and never gave up, I know that’s something that will be remembered forever.

One of the many characteristics of Diasia that makes me smile is how she was able to make friends so easily with people that came into her life. If you couldn’t start a conversation, Diasia would. It was like life was going to be looking up for Diasia, she had just got a job, just got a car and had a date to go talk about getting her apartment. Whatever she put her mind to would always work out in her favor. Everything that was being done was for her kids. Welcoming in a new baby gave her so much strength and she was determined. Colette Tawanna Chantel Hogan was born April 15, 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Colette was only 18 days old when she was called to her heavenly home. But while she was here, the people that was around was blessed with her presence. Diasia and Colette are now being welcomed to their eternal home. They will be dearly missed … Until we meet again.

Diasia was preceded in death by great grandmother, Juanita; and great grandfather, George L. Davis Sr.

Diasia has left wonderful memories with her parents, Jowanna and Daniel Hogan; siblings, Danyelle, Dai’Ghia, Omunique, Monique and Zayha Hogan; grandparents, Teowearner Davis, Edwina Hogan, and Frank Hamiter; children, Jimari and Pleasant Hogan; uncles, Terrence L.
