Donald E Bilyeu

Donald Bilyeu, age 76, of Anderson, passed away on January 8, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born in Livingston, TN to the late Thomas and Vesta Bilyeu.

Donald worked at Delco Remy, retiring after 30 years. He served in the United States Army, being honorably discharged as a Paratrooper. He served overseas in Okinawa for 2 years. He was a talented mechanic and anything mechanical he could work on it. He was an extreme Jeep enthusiast, from military grade to luxury jeeps. He was a very kind, quiet person. He would do anything for anyone, sometimes going without so he could make sure others were taken care of. He was a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa, and brother who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Donald is survived by his wife Jeanette Bilyeu, children Sheila Bilyeu and Jerry Bilyeu (Yung-Zen); grandchildren Emily Bilyeu, Amber Bilyeu, Marcus Warner, and Bradley Warner (Cassie); siblings Tom Bilyeu (Sally) and Faye Walker; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents listed above; and siblings Richard Bilyeu, Janie Bilyeu, and Roy Bilyeu.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 1-2pm with a funeral service beginning at 2pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson. Pastor Ed Purciful will be officiating.
