Dorothy J. Clemons (Bishop)

Dorothy Jean Clemons 89, (Granny) of Mooresville, Indiana was called to her heavenly home on March 9, 2020.
She was born July 19, 1930 to the late Lloyd and Martha Bishop in Middletown, Ohio. Her parents relocated the family to Indiana. Dorothy worked at A & P Bakery for many years. That is where she met the love of her Carl Clemons. They were married and blessed with 2 daughters Patti Hiatt (Clemons) and Linda R. Clemons.
They were a long-time residence of Camby, Indiana. Dorothy and Carl were supporters of the Decatur Township 4-H. Family was the most important thing to her. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren dearly. She often would help babysit and keep the little ones when needed. Her home was always open to them. Dorothy enjoyed going to church at Friendswood Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter; Linda R. Clemons; granddaughters: Shey A. Query-Graham, Teresa (Bill) Strano , grandson: Don C. Query, Jr, and great-granddaughters: Haley M, Kirsten M, Sydney A, and great-grandson: Logan W, along with several niece and nephews from the Bishop and Clemons families.
Dorothy was proceeded in death by her husband, Carl Clemons, daughter Patty Hiatt (Clemons), sisters Della Mae Church and Ginny Doss, and 1 brother Elisha Bishop.
All services where private. Dorothy was laid to rest next to her husband Carl in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
