Dorothy Jean Muse

Dorothy Jean Muse 90, of Sullivan, formerly of Indianapolis, died on December 17, 2015. Dorothy was born on July 31, 1925 in Sullivan, Indiana to the late James Jackson and Violet (Blue) Jackson Anderson. She was a strong independent, hardworking mother who raised 5 children on her own. She worked for the United States Postal service as a clerk for many years and was a union steward as well. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Sullivan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Curtis Sanders. She is survived by her daughters Pam Reddy, Judith Strubbe, sons James Sanders, Terry Muse, brothers William Anderson, Ricky Jackson, a sister Mary Ann Pringle, 23 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 4th, 2015 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Legacy Cremation & Funeral-1604 W. Morris Street. Funeral will be held at 1:00PM at same location with burial to follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
