Eddie Scott Harvey

Eddie S. Harvey, 77 years of age, passed away on Wednesday December 28, 2022, with his family by his bedside. Eddie was born in Burkesville, KY on May 12, 1945, to the late Roger and Emily Mae (Scott) Harvey. Eddie and his brother Roger, came to Anderson, IN in 1963.

Over the years, Eddie worked at Garr Nursery, East Side Dairy, helped his uncle Roscoe Wray in masonry, and then General Motors, retiring in 1996. Eddie enjoyed being active, staying busy, and was always there with a smile and a helping hand. Eddie was knowledgeable, a true jack of all trades in many ways. Eddie and his boys were always in the garage doing something, working on cars, or building something. He also took pride in his yard and garden.

Eddie leaves behind his wife Brilla (Looper) Harvey of 57 years; and 3 sons Steve (Tami), James, and Dale (Stacy); sister Rebecca Hurt, and many special friends. 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren he loved dearly, 2 brothers, Roger and James.

Eddie is “Out of our sight, but never out of our hearts. We love you!”

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 12, 2022, from 11am-1pm with a memorial service beginning at 1pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
