Edward (Eddie) Kinser, of Anderson, passed from this earth to his eteral home on April 6, 2020 at the age of 79 after a long battle with Pulmonary and heart related problems.

Eddie was born in Asphalt Ky in Edmonson County on January 8th 1941 to  Silas Oti Kinser and Effie Mae (Ashley) Kinser. He and his twin brother Ted were the youngest of 9 children.

Eddie moved to Anderson in January of 1966 and started working for Creviston Steel as a flatbed truck driver and worked for them until they closed in the 1990’s. After that he drove over the road semi-tractor trailers, and was the owner and operator of Kinser Trucking in the late 1990’s. After he left over the road trucking, he continued driving dump trucks and running heavy equipment.

On October 28, 1972, Eddie married (Jean) Agnes Regina Allen whom he adored and loved until the day he departed this life. He always said that “Jean was the best thing that ever happened to me”.

Eddie was liked by everyone who ever met him and he never knew a stranger. He was always the center of attention and the life of the party. Eddie served as one of the song leaders at the Meadowbrook Church of Christ for many years and possessed a beautiful singing voice. He was an extraordinary generous person who would give you the shirt off of his back if he thought you needed it.

Daughter Dana (Robert) Gonzales, Son Johnny Kinser, Step Son Gary (Janet) Allen, Step Daughter Terri (Mark) Recker, Step Daughter Sandy (Tom) Hinkle, 10 grand-children, and 4 great grand-children, and several nieces and nephews.
