Ms. Elaina Sue Kirby-Pritchett

Elaina Sue Kirby-Pritchett, age 54, of Indianapolis, IN died unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, May 13, 2021.  She was born in Indianapolis on February 5, 1967 to Leonard Bruce Kirby and Carol Ann (Deem) Kirby.

On March 27, 1994 she was married to Thomas “Tom” Pritchett.  She graduated from high school at Arsenal Tech and then went on to studying nursing.  She ended up making a career shift and worked as a hospitality professional for much of her life.  She spent 15 years at the Meridian Hills Country Club.  She was a member of River of Life church.

She is survived by, Tom Pritchett; mother, Carol Kirby; children, Cary Thomas, Frank (Elyssia Taylor) Pritchett and Rachel Pritchett; grandchildren, Chandler, Raelynn, Lyndon, Caiden, Easton, Aden, Jaxson, Lillie and Ava; siblings, Michelle Kirby and Michael (Susan) Kirby and 5 nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Kirby.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 20 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m. at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Indianapolis, 1604 W. Morris St., Indianapolis.  Memorial donations in Elaina’s name can be made to the American Heart Association.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
