80, of Indianapolis, passed away September14, 2016.

Betty was born on August 1, 1936 inJasper, IN to the late John Henry and Elenora Sander. She lived most of her life in Indianapoliswith her loving husband, Jim and their children. Betty was an avid volunteer in thedistribution center for 30+ years for the St. Vincent DePaul Society.

Betty is survived by her: husband, James Farrell; son, Michael Farrell(Laura Moore-Farrell); daughter, Brenda Farrell (Jeff Lonigro); grandchildren,Thomas Farrell, William Farrell, Maggie Farrell, James Farrell, Blaise Lonigro,Vincent Lonigro, Henry Lonigro, Luke Lonigro, and Elizabeth Lonigro; andbrother, Ed Sander of Jasper, IN. She ispreceded in death by her: parents; brother, Bob; and sisters, Dorothy, Frieda,and Infant Mary Catherine.

Visitation will be from 3pm to 5pm on Sunday, September 18, 2016 atLegacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue,with a rosary service at 4:30pm. Afuneral mass will be at 10am on Monday, September 19, 2016 at St. LawrenceCatholic Church, 4650 N. Shadeland Avenue.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either St.Vincent DePaul or St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
