Emma Mae Gall

Emma Mae Gall, age 83, of Anderson, passed away on March 29, 2020 at her home after an extended illness. She was born on June 1, 1936 to the late John and Annie Elmore.

Emma was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She spent most of her free time making porcelain dolls and was a fabulous seamstress. She would drive all over the country looking for the best products and tools to make her crafts. She loved to read and do crossword puzzles when she could. Her biggest job of all was caring for her 4 boys. She was a homemaker for most of her life, also working as a clerk at the Mounds Mall for several years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Anderson for several years. Emma was the rock that held her family together and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Emma is survived by her husband of 64 ½ years, John Gall; children Anthony J. Gall, Andrew W. Gall, Stephen P. Gall (Jan), and Mark A. Gall; grandchildren Stephen J. Gall, John A. Gall, Justin Gall, Blake Gall, Jordan Gall, Cameron Gall, and Clayton Gall; 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; siblings Florence Geissenger and Harry Elmore; and special friends Elaine Crane and her daughters Linda Colip and Christy Crane.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above; brother John Elmore; ad grandchild Brooke Gall.

Due to the safety of the public and family at this time, a private family only service will be held on April 7, 2020 from 930-1030 am with a funeral service beginning at 1030am. Burial will take place at Maplewood Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
